“Satara” The name is derived from the seven-Hills seven-(sat) hills-(tara) surrounded town. Two great rivers flowing the Krishna and Veena rivers. Satara district is located in the western ghat/ part of Maharashtra.‘SATARA’ was the capital of Maratha Kingdom.

BRAHMAPURI: situated in satara district near rahmatpur village 2Hrs drive from pune river Krishna flowing near Brahmpuri. In the Markandeya Purana it is described as the city of Lord Brahma.
